Use of Information and Services
We are proud to be rated by RSACi and maintains the right to deny and decline any event, post, membership or advertisement representing products, services or businesses considered unsuitable for this site. TEC assumes no responsibility for any consequences related directly or indirectly to any action or inaction you take based on the information, services or other materials presented on this site. TEC disclaims all warranties expressed and implied with regard to the information, services, opportunities, products, materials and sales on this site; including and without limitation to any implied warranties of merchantability, opportunity or product.
User Contributions
Users who post to this site agree to abide by the following rules: (1) users may not post or transmit material that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, harmful, threatening, abusive or hateful or that violates the rights of others (including the infringing use of a copyright or trademark), that violates the privacy or publicity right of others, or that is in violation of applicable laws; (2) users may not interfere with other user's use and enjoyment of this site; (3) users may not use this site to conduct any activity that is illegal or that violates the rights of others; (4) users may use this site where noted and appropriate to advertise, sell products or services to others and to purchase, trade or barter upon the same at their own risk. TEC claims no responsibility for the content of any material posted by users or the transactions between users; however TEC reserves the right at its sole discretion to (a) edit or delete any posts, information or other material submitted to or appearing on this site and (b) refuse access to the site to any user that violates this agreement.
Limitation of Liability
In no event or circumstance will TEC, its associates or affiliates assume liability for any special, event, indirect, punitive, incidental, exemplary or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, business, data or profits, litigation and the like, whether based on breach of contract, tort (including negligence), product liability, server downtime or otherwise. You acknowledge and agree that the limitations set forth above are fundamental elements of this agreement and use of this site would not be provided to you absent such limitations.
Advertising and Promotion
TEC will list user's paid party or event on its calendar and send out a reminder notice to its lists on the day of the event; however it is the responsibility of the individual holding the event and not that of TEC to promote said event by ensuring adequate promotion and announcements, sending personal invitations and follow-up. Complaints of spam made to TEC about a specific user will result in the cancellation of said event. Funds paid to TEC are nonrefundable. TEC is not responsible for lack of attendance or sales at any event. User may advertise said event on boards, newsgroups and lists that allow party and event announcements, however announcements and posts made to the message boards and chats at TEC are not permissible unless they are being hosted by same. User further agrees that it is user's sole responsibility to know and adhere to user's company policies in regard
to the use of the Internet for promotion, sales and advertising procedures and
not that of TEC.
Changes to Site
TEC maintains the right to make improvements or changes to the information, services, products and other materials on this site or to terminate this site at any time without notice. TheExpoConnection may modify this agreement at any time
and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified agreement. Accordingly, you agree to review the agreement periodically and your continued access or use of this site shall be deemed as your acceptance of the modified agreement.
Proprietary Rights
All materials on this site as well as the organization and layout of the site are owned and copyrighted by TheExpoConnection and may not be copied in part or in whole without the express written permission of TEC including but not limited to text, layout, format, ideas and artwork.
